There's A Bear In the Rhubarb Patch!!!

Holy smoke!!!....Look at that!!!!..........

Isn't he fabulous?  I named him "Marmalade" because the preservative I painted on him to seal out the rain was orange colored.  He is the newest member of the garden and I can't wait for the kids to see him!

It was really rainy today.  It is easy to get bummed out about it, but what can you do about it?  Only had one customer today.  He rode up on his bike and wandered around the garden sampling greens for quite a while before I even realized he was here.  He was so thrilled to find the garden and loved just helping himself.  He bought a bag of greens thanked me for opening my garden for others to enjoy.  It's times like that that make it all worthwhile.

Instead of moping about the weather I took my camera outside to try to capture something beautiful about the rain.  It's there if you just take the time to look for it.

Hang in the Sitka.
