To Market, To Market To Buy A Fat Pig. Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety-Jig

The day started out pretty early for me this morning.  I had to get all my stuff together for the Farmer's Market.  I don't take produce to sell unless I have way to much of something, but I put together a gift basket and let people put their names in a hat for a chance to win it.  I also take a few potted perennials that I have from recent divisions.  They help to pay the bills!

After setting up my table we snuck away to do a little garage saling.  I didn't find anything spectacular.  I found a great basket but it was too much money.  I need to spend less than $5 on them to make my gift baskets pay. Maybe I have already bought all the large baskets in town!

I messed up today and didn't take any photos at the market.  I guess I was too busy eating!  I had Black Cod tips, fry bread, spring rolls and Yvonne Christner's FABULOUS sodas!!!  Those sodas were so delicious!  Rhubarb/Salmonberry and Lime/Cucumber/Mint.  Amazing!

The weather really took a turn for the worse by the time the market was over, so I have been spending the evening in my easy chair crocheting socks.  This is the first time I've picked up my crocheting in MONTHS!

Here is a pair I made last year using the same design...

 I just love making socks!
