This morning I hit the 4th of July food booths for breakfast....YUM! Later Mr. Adams and I rode the motorcycle into town and watched the parade. Then we dropped by a friend's house to help her. She is building a greenhouse and needed a hand. And after that I did some weeding. We had pizza for dinner and watched a movie. Not a bad day, and it didn't even rain!
No garden photos so I will share photos of my framed organizer in the sunroom.
Isn't it cool? It's my way to keep track of "what to do when."
Yvonne Christner helped me work on it last year. She did the stenciling.
I really love it!
THE U-Pick GARDEN will be closing August 20th. This will be the last year the garden will be open to the public. Next year I'll be operating as a CSA, supplying about 20 regular customers with weekly boxes. Thank you for your support over the last 8 years, but it's time to try something new.
To get a copy of my book, "How To Grow Vegetables In Sitka, Alaska" just give me a call....The books are $20 plus tax. If you live out of town and want me to mail you a copy, you can mail a check for $25.60 to:
