Half Way Done

Well, I got lucky with the weather again today.   There was rain in the forecast but I only felt a few sprinkles all day!
The first thing we did this morning is go garage saling.  It was not the best day, but I did get a nice basket and a paint-by-number kit to take on the boat for some relaxation therapy.  After that I got to work sifting dirt for the carrot bed.  Here is my state of the art sift-o-matic...

The sifter is on top and on hinges so that I can just "throw" the rocks into the wheelbarrow.  You can't see it very well in this photo, but there are 2 thin white boards that hold seaweed against the fence to keep the dirt from coming out.  Everything just pulls along as I fill in. About midlevel I put in the starfish.  Here I am at about 4:00 when I took my dinner break...

And again at 8:30 when I finally quit...

I think I will go soak my sore bones in the tub.
