Before I get started I'd like to apologize for the lateness of this post. What can I say? I live a busy life. So down to business we go!
I decided to take the boat out today. I'd love to give you a tour of the inside, but that's for another post at a later date.
Today was one of the nicest days I've seen in nearly a year. Not only was the sun out, but the air was warm! Now how often does THAT happen in Sitka? I'm sure the plants got their fix of sunlight today. I will post some pictures of the garden tomorrow. Let's hope the good weather keeps comin'!
Oh and by the way that's not really my yacht.... But boy do I wish....
THE U-Pick GARDEN will be closing August 20th. This will be the last year the garden will be open to the public. Next year I'll be operating as a CSA, supplying about 20 regular customers with weekly boxes. Thank you for your support over the last 8 years, but it's time to try something new.
To get a copy of my book, "How To Grow Vegetables In Sitka, Alaska" just give me a call....The books are $20 plus tax. If you live out of town and want me to mail you a copy, you can mail a check for $25.60 to:
