A big day in terms of duck eggs. 20. 20 eggs. 19 ducks. 20 eggs.... 13 females........ 20 eggs. Apparently the drakes started laying as well as the females? And one of the drakes had two eggs? Connie CLAIMS that she NEVER misses any eggs, so they must have all been laid today, but... I'm pretty sure that's impossible. It's all right, though. She does a great job. Incidentally, 12 of the eggs were conveniently piled together.... I swear we didn't do it. Sometimes they just like to share a nest.
And then there's all the eggs together...
Gramps continued his crusade on the duck hutch today, making great headway. Nearly done!
Carolyn came over to fix up one of the last beds.
And Connie took a picture of the dog!
