A Few Shots From Our Last Trip

Early this morning Mr. Adams and I picked up the new group of clients and headed to the boat.  They were underway for the hunting grounds by 6:30 a.m. and I headed home to catch up on paperwork and phone calls that had piled up while we were gone.  Besides watering in the sunroom and tinkering around outside for a few hours I didn't get much done in the garden.  I'm still sleep deprived and had to stop this afternoon for a nap.  Maybe by tomorrow I will feel normal again.

Here are a few photos from the last trip.

Ben and Emily arriving after a slightly rough trip...

It was SO FUN to have them on the boat with us.  The 3 of us played a lot of  Scrabble...open dictionary...

Ben won most of the games.

Here is everyone but me cleaning shrimp on the back deck.  I don't clean them anymore...I just cook them.

I did a lot of these...

A LOT of them!

In my off time I finished a paper pieced log cabin quilt that I had started about 10 years ago.  Then I machine quilted it to a fleece blanket.  All that is left to do now it is put on the binding.

It turned out beautifully and I can't wait to buy the couch for our living room that is going to go underneath it.

And check this out...on May 14 we had a blizzard!!!  It was brief and the snow melted quickly, but REALLY!!!

It was a successful trip.  Both hunters got nice trophies and one of them was one of the biggest bears we've taken!

--I updated the duck log today so don't forget to check it out.
