Today has been rainy rainy RAINY. All day. The folks left this morning before I even got up (pretty early) and left town for another hunt. So it's just me and Connie again. Something quite interesting happened last night. We were all in the living room getting ready to watch a movie, when Connie said "Hey, look at the deer!" And sure enough, a buck had come down the hill and entered the yard. Check it out:
Pictures are a little blurry, haha. We scared it off so that it wouldn't eat any vegetables, but from my understanding it ate all the baby sunflowers behind the neighbor's house. Which makes me angry...
The rhubarb continues to astound me with it's rate of growth... It must love this rain.
It's a wipers-up kind of day.
Look at all that wood I have to split getting wet....
Puddle.
Ben and Emily come in tonight, so I will post pictures tomorrow. Stay tuned!
