Day 10

On day 10, as we drove through Nevada we saw lots of sagebrush....

It had been raining, so the sagebrush looked really green and black.

As we entered Oregon we saw some more sagebrush....and some deer, and some pronghorn antelope, and this horse....

He looked a little rough around the edges.

I drove quite a bit of the time so Mr. Adams could look at Oregon Fish and Game maps....

As we neared Lakeview, Oregon we finally started to see trees, water. green grass, and cows mixed in with the sagebrush.

Then we stopped in Valley Falls, Oregon to visit Mr. Adams' brother Tim and his wife Sue.

Tim just built a new shop, so the guys couldn't wait to get the truck in there to start tinkering with it. First they took apart the passenger door to work on the window that was not working exactly right...

And then they replaced the thermostat because they thought the old one was sticking a bit too much. It sure is nice to have handy men in the family!
