Day 9

Today we saw a whole lot of nothing......miles and miles of nothing.

At least the weather was nice. We were expecting a scorcher, but the clouds rolled in and it rained off and on, which brought the temperature down nicely.

Little towns are scattered here and there in the nothingness, and in almost every town we see old trucks.....so we started taking photos of them.

This truck is the same model as mine!!  As soon as we stopped to take photos, Bill, the owner, came down to visit with us. (He's on the left) He told us that he is the great, great, grandson of Jeremiah Johnson! How cool is that?

I absolutely love the patina on his truck!

He also had this GMC pickup...

And this great  Chevrolet car.

Further down the road we saw this Ford flatbed truck...

And this red beauty.

Check out the horns on the front!

We saw lots and lots of other cool trucks, but didn't get close enough for good photos.

All in all it was another great day!

Goodnight from Winnamucca, Nevada!
