It Was A Good News Bad News Kind Of Day

What a day!
The bad news is that it's been raining....
The good news it is only rains at night and during the day I can work outside without getting wet, so this morning I took the old duck pool to the dumping station....

The bad news is that when I got to True Value they were all sold out of kiddie pools that size!!!!!!!!!!
This was devastating.  How could I be so stupid as to not check for sure before I threw mine out?  I've been seeing bright blue pools out of the corner of my eye as I drive by True Value, but it turns out they were just the tiny ones!!!
The good news is that I hated that bright blue color and have always wanted to use something different and this was my chance.

The bad news is that Sitka has NOTHING and everything is expensive to bring in- I was going to have to think outside the box on this one...get creative.
The good news is that the best solution seems to be to cement the whole pond area over....I know how to mix cement, so this might turn out nice.

The bad news is that it's a lot of work....

Wish me luck!
