Getting Rested Up

It was a crazy weekend and so I've taken the day off to get rested up for the week because the weather is supposed to get really nice and I have to haul tons of seaweed and salmon carcasses in for the garden. I didn't do much of anything today!

My friend Pam is out of town and she and her husband have 4 ducks, so in the evenings I go check on them and feed them.

They are actually descendants of my ducks!  Look at that light colored female...I have never had that light of one in my herd so we were all surprised to see one of theirs be so light.  Jeeves must be her father....

Back on the ranch we have a lot of this...

...and a lot of this....

And the ducks have done a lot of this...

....and this...

They are not supposed to be in the lettuce...I will have to harvest it or cover it...

Oh well, nice weather is on it's way!
