To get a copy of my book, "How To Grow Vegetables In Sitka, Alaska" just give me a call....The books are $20 plus tax. If you live out of town and want me to mail you a copy, you can mail a check for $25.60 to:

Customer Appreciation

I love my customers!!!  They make the garden successful, they make it fulfilling, they make it worth it all!
I love how the children light up when they pull a carrot or eat a pea pod...

I love how when I am gone my customers help themselves and leave the money...I find money tucked here and there with notes saying what they bought....

I love that they bring me egg cartons and strawberry baskets...and sometimes they even bring mefood that they've made from produce they've picked from my garden...spinach salad....cake....and one wonderful lady even brought me some chicken vegetable soup when she knew I was sick!  Wasn't that nice?

I love that when people come the first time they don't have any idea how to pick, but after a visit or two they show pride and empowerment....they walk in with confidence and pick what they need without help....

I love that my customers notice changes I've made and comment on the progress of the vegetables' growth....

I love that my customers are delighted with the garden...even when it's raining!....there is always visiting and laughter, exchanges of information, sharing of starts and seeds, questions and ideas....it's what I call networking and community...

I love how the garden has given me the opportunity to meet so many new people!  People that I now consider friends...

But what I love the most is when a customer thanks me...It really means alot to me....they notice the work and love that goes into the garden and they look me in the eye and get serious and say, "Thank you.  Thank you for doing this for us."

Thankyou Sitka!
