The weather was fabulous today....and everywhere I went everyone was exclaiming what a beautiful day it was! We obviously don't get enough sunshine, because it caused quite a stir!
Of course after church and lunch I headed for the garden. The project of the day was to transplant the peppermint. It's been growing it in a out of the way place where it's not getting any attention or nutrition. It hasn't been spreading which is good, but on the other hand it is not producing very much.
A couple of months ago my Mom gave me some money to buy some whiskey barrels to use in my herb garden...the perfect spot for the peppermint!
Everything is growing and blooming!!
Even kitty enjoyed the sun!!
THE U-Pick GARDEN will be closing August 20th. This will be the last year the garden will be open to the public. Next year I'll be operating as a CSA, supplying about 20 regular customers with weekly boxes. Thank you for your support over the last 8 years, but it's time to try something new.
