The Fundraiser

This is one of the main reasons I flew home and did not stay with the boat...the annual Sitka High Swim Team Fundraiser.  We have one fundraising event a year and it is BIG.  It takes everyone to pull it off, but it comes off great every year.  We sell a great prime rib dinner that is served by the kids that includes a dessert bar, there are tables of silent auction items and then we auction off the the kids for 8 hours of work a piece.  It is always heavily attended and everyone has a great time!

It was a great evening, but I am tired and glad it is over.  Now I can concentrate on getting things in order mail, bills and other important things!
Levi has been swimming since he was 5 years old!  Here's a photo of him when he was about 8...

And here he is now with the other seniors on the swim team and their coach, Robby Jarvill...

We are proud of you, Levi!
