Harvesting Is Fun!

I have been harvesting things so I can prep the beds for next year so there are lots of little piles of this and that in the kitchen.  I have more time to cook now than I did this summer so it is fun to eat the fruits of my labors....tomatoes...

Brussel's sprouts...

The teeniest-tiniest acorn squash.....the only one I got!!!... and bog cranberries...

I've even been experimenting with making homemade potato chips....

And duck breast prosciutto.....

And there's always a bouquet of sunflowers sitting on the counter!

Harvesting is fun!
