I Leave The Christmas Lights Up All Year

One year, many years ago, I was sick right before Christmas and didn't feel like putting up any Christmas decorations.   Levi REALLY wanted to put them up so I opened up the trunk and let him go at it.  The first thing he did was string the Christmas lights up around the perimeter of the room in a casual, hapazard, 10 year old boy way, and.....

...it was so charming that we didn't want to take them down when Christmas was over!  So.... they are still up, and turning them on every day just makes the room look so homey.

I told Mr. Adams that the Christmas lights are magical....if the house is messy I just turn the Christmas lights on and voila!...the house looks GREAT!!!
