To get a copy of my book, "How To Grow Vegetables In Sitka, Alaska" just give me a call....The books are $20 plus tax. If you live out of town and want me to mail you a copy, you can mail a check for $25.60 to:

Everything And Nothing

People have asked me lately, "What have you been up to?" and I don't know how to answer them. I mean, on one hand I'm just chilling with no urgent deadline - doing whatever I want to do, but on the other hand I'm busy, busy, busy all day long. So, I'll try to answer the question.... in no particular order, here's the Reader's Digest Condensed Version of what I've been up to:

Decoupaged some old photos onto plywood.....

Went through every movie, book, and file from the filing cabinet in the entire house, and PURGED (with the help of Mr. Adams)

Ordered and assembled 2 new desks....

So, if you know anyone that is looking for an oak Roll-Top desk, I have one for sale......$400

And it's in excellent condition!

Putting together and mailing care packages to the boys.

Some light gardening and sporadically hauling seaweed.

Harvesting Fall crops from the garden and cooking at home (most of the time).

 Made jam....

Cleaned and organized the sewing room and got started making Christmas cards.

Business paperwork.....everyday.

Taking care of the animals....

Working on the quilt.....

It's FINALLY done, and here is a photo of the LAST stitch....

Browsing Pinterest at length....

Doing dishes, laundry, and vacuuming the house.......YUCK!!!

Hauling wood, building fires, stoking the fire, hauling ashes, repeat.....

Watching movies that we got for free from a garage sale...some winners and some losers...mostly losers.

And getting reacquainted with my recliner with a lap full of yarn and a crochet hook in my hand....

Just a little of this and a little of that while keeping the home fires burning.....my favorite thing to do!
