Lucky was not recovering as quickly as I thought he should be and.I finally decided that he is not getting enough exercise. He was not with the other ducks so he wasn't having to do anything.....he didn't have to compete for food or space and he didn't feel compelled to get up and move every time the rest of the ducks got up and moved. Most of the time he was just laying around and I figured if I didn't intervene soon and get him moving he might never recover. So.... I've been putting him in the pond when the other ducks are out in the yard and it's amazing how much better he is doing!
Good job, Lucky!!! Soon you will be able to join all the other ducks and play their little duck games!
