The Days Are Full

Most of the garden work is done....just a few more projects to finish up.  So now there is more time to do fun things indoors, like....

Make gourmet caramel apples with Levi and a couple of his friends...

I had them "twirl" them outside to get the caramel to cool faster...then we went back indoors and covered them with chocolate and various delicious toppings.  Here's one with pecans......

I have a weakness for gourmet caramel apples....I have been known to sit down and eat an entire apple by myself.  It's true.  I'm not proud of it, but it's true.

I've also been doing a lot of crocheting....the best thing about crocheting is meeting the girls down at the knit shop....Hi Molly!

And last night I headed over to Yvonne's house....she got a new cookbook and wanted to try making cake doughnuts!

How fun is that?  And while I was there I got a photo of Jennifer standing on a chair singing a TV commercial jingle that she remembered from her childhood but she forbid me to post it....sorry you had to miss out on seeing that.

The doughnuts were SO delicious!  Let's face it...anything fried in oil is delicious!

 Kid approved!

 Thanks, Yvonne!

There are so many cool things to do and not enough hours in the day....I have never understood people who get bored!
