I Have No Idea What Is Going On

A couple of weeks ago Jeeves died. I didn't mention it earlier because it was just so disturbing....I'm not even sure what happened.

He just showed up with all the feathers and down missing from his back and under his wings. I'm talking- bare skin! The strange thing is that there were no feathers on the ground anywhere....NONE. He was not walking well either, and did not make it through the night. Some people think that the other ducks pecked him to death, but I don't think so...I mean...where are the feathers? He was the lead drake, and when drakes do fight they just push each other around with their chests and pull out chest feathers. It's all so odd.

Then, today I found all the ducks huddled in the back of the hutch...someplace they never go unless they're extremely scared.....

They were all holding still, acting humble, and trying to look as small and inconspicuous as possible...

Everyone had plenty of feathers, but.... there were tons of feathers in the pool!

LOOK AT THAT!!!!

What in the heck happened!?!?!

I'm telling you, when you have ducks you can never relax!  Poor ducks!
