They Call Me "GAL"

I just got back from spending a few days in Oregon with my family. My niece had just had a new baby girl, sweet Callie Ann........

I miss out on most of the family get togethers, so it was really fun to hold her...

Around these parts I'm known as Great Aunt Lori, aka, "GAL".

And here is her big sister, Addy Mae...

She's as smart as a whip and knows how to use an iphone...

It's always beautiful in Oregon this time of year..... daffodils where blooming everywhere...

My Dad picked me a bouquet to take home with me on the plane.

As I headed north the sky got grayer and the temperature got colder, and it seemed like the daffodils just got brighter and brighter.

Life has been sending our family some bumps and bruises lately, and it's surprising how much those flowerers cheered me up on the way home.
