My Other Life

I've been gone for about a month, working on the boat as the chief cook and bottle washer for Mr. Adams on his bear hunts. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

Luckily for us, we had an excellent photographer aboard during one of the hunts (Lindsey Williams of Great Big Bison Productions), and he took some beautiful photos. They're so beautiful that they almost make our jobs look glamorous! Take a look.....

Maybe they are.....

Thanks Lindsey!

  3. Hey Lori, you're back!! What fabulous pics!! Awesome lighting on the Surveyor tied up and Northern Lights! and all the great food you make, ending with a wonderful pic of you two!! I guess the dirt is flying now, well maybe not because all the veg. should be growing. Best wishes for a prolific gardening season. I just finished planting green beans and sweet corn. It has been very wet here. Just waiting to do more hay. Evonne

  5. Lori, I just saw this post....I had the best time in Alaska riding the boat, eating your food, and riding the skiff with Dale. It was my first time in Alaska and hopefully I'll get to come back again sometime.... Lindsey
