The weather is quite "October-ish"!
Today we were joined by Willow and her little "mini-me", Ada.
Ada had fun, but got cold after awhile...so she wore her Mom's coat for a while...
Isn't she just adorable? You have to be tough when you're a Sitka kid...
In between hail and rain showers I saw a tiny beam of light peek through the clouds to form a portion of a rainbow over Carolyn...
Cool!
Today, in addition to collecting salmon carcasses and seaweed, we collected fish skeletons. The bones will make a great source of Phosphorus for our garlic beds!
Of course, collecting is only half of the job.....once you get home you have to unload the buckets, wash out the truck, and place the goods in the garden.
Whew...I got soaking wet and now I'm tired. I think I'll spend the evening curled up in my easy chair quilting!
Well I see you are having a great time collecting fish for your garden.
