The Fundraiser

This is one of the main reasons I flew home and did not stay with the boat...the annual Sitka High Swim Team Fundraiser.  We have one fundraising event a year and it is BIG.  It takes everyone to pull it off, but it comes off great every year.  We sell a great prime rib dinner that is served by the kids that includes a dessert bar, there are tables of silent auction items and then we auction off the the kids for 8 hours of work a piece.  It is always heavily attended and everyone has a great time!

It was a great evening, but I am tired and glad it is over.  Now I can concentrate on getting things in order here....like mail, bills and other important things!

Levi has been swimming since he was 5 years old!  Here's a photo of him when he was about 8...
