Pacific High

Today I had the garden class from our alternative high school come out to harvest food for their "local food" lunch next week.  They really thought it was cool to harvest the veggies themselves!  There was not much left in the garden,  but I had been saving some stuff for them.  Potatoes...

 

Kale...

Carrots...

Plus celery, lemon sorrel and dill.  I think it's such a cool thing to teach the kids to eat local.  Hopefully as I expand I can have more produce for them in the future!  Thanks Mandy!
