A Day Late And A Dollar Short

Well, did you think I drove into a ditch or something?  I think that was the first time I skipped posting!  I put a lot of miles on the road the past few days and got to Portland late last night, so I will catch you up on all my adventures....

On Tuesday, before I left for Ellensburg I shopped Ballard, Washington...

They had a great sink...

Unfortunately it was attached to a metal cabinet which I don't need and it was SOLD!

Everything here was well organized...

I'm noticing a trend with all these salvage places...there are always tons of door and windows!

The next stop was a gelato shop.  I'd never had gelato before and have been wondering what all the fuss was about and decided I needed to try it...

It was yummy, but not better than a good Ben and Jerry's icecream

Next stop was a great little yarn shop with a GREAT name!

I was very, very bad....

I shopped some other antique and salvage shops, but somehow they got erased off the camera.  They weren't noteworthy anyways.

Then it was off to Ellensburg to see Connie...

We had a great time visiting that evening and catching up on things.  On Wednesday morning she showed me around.  The sky was blue.....

And the sunflowers were wonderful!

As I headed for parts south Connie told me to be sure and stop at the local antique/produce market...

It was a really nice setup with produce and unique food stuffs on the bottom floor...

The 2nd and 3rd floors are loaded with antiques.  Nothing really big or extravagant, but typical antique mall stuff..

After this stop I worked my way toward Portland, Oregon....but that is enough for now.  I will post more later.
